Graffiti and Trash

We definitely do not want to be a hazard or a nuissance
The Beacon House Thrift Shop prides itself on having a clean and tidy sales floor and the same goes for the outside and our rear loading area.

Unfortunately, due to the location of our store, an ongoing issue we encounter is graffiti and trash accumulation. Graffiti should be reported to the general manager as soon as it is noticed so property management can be notified in a timely manner. Trash is another very common sight in front of the stores, unfortunately this is an uphill battle due to the dense population of homeless in the area.

If there is trash in front of the store upon arrival, notify the general manager so property management can be notified in a timely manner. Our rear loading area is commonly used to store ragged out furniture and other large unsellable goods until they can be picked up on Tuesday. Items stored here must be neatly organized and lanes for the trucks and our neighbor must be maintained. If the area becomes overcluttered, furniture may need to be broken down and thrown into our dumpsters or taken to Channel View to be stored until the roll off arrives.
