Accountability

Just like in recovery, accountability plays a vital role in logistics and operations. Here’s a few examples of how:
  • Calling your direct supervisor if there is an issue with the truck or if you’re involved in an accident.
  • Calling ahead to your point of contact for a pickup to make sure they’re ready or if you’re going to be running late.
  • Calling your direct supervisor if finished early to see if there’s anything else you can do.
Accountability with your truck mate is also important. Communication when loading and unloading furniture is also the first line of defense when it comes to preventing serious injury.
