What is expected of you?

To put it simply...

as a resident of the Beacon House Association, it is expected that you represent the house in the best possible fashion. Customer interactions are a part of your newly earned workload, and for the house to continue to have beds open for men seeking help (Like there was one for you), our customers and donors need to be greeted by men who are helpful, positive, and grateful to be in the position they are currently in.
Another beautiful aspect of this opportunity is that you will be working side by side with your brothers in recovery. Here, it is expected that you are checking in with them, asking for help, processing things that come up during your shift, giving behavioral help when necessary, and working as a unit to get the daily tasks done efficiently. Attitude is everything, and as you are learning in your program, we have found a design for living that really works, so take action!

“A positive attitude may not solve all our problems, but that is the only option we have
if we want to get out of problems.” —Subodh Gupta

QUOTE OF THE DAY
Is the reality of your situation the problem, or do you just have a problem with reality?
