Keep It Together – Strategies

If it comes in together, it should leave together.
A common item or set of items that you will see while in production is sets of china or dining ware.
Equally as common to see is guys trying to bump their production numbers up by pricing these items individually. Don’t be that guy. By keeping things like sets of china together, we are far more likely to sell the items as opposed to having to rag out the individually priced pieces. Think about it, who wants to buy a cannibalized set of china with 3 cups 2 saucer plates and one dinner plate?
We are far more likely to sell the set at the right price point. Special exceptions may apply when a set has already come in and is already missing pieces, but again, this exception should be few and far between and typically only happens with items that have been deemed exclusive. The odds of somebody coming in looking for a specific saucer plate from the 1960’s is extremely rare, but stranger things have happened.
