Sale Promotion and Communication

If you cannot talk to a random stranger as if they were family
or your best friend, then you will struggle to be a salesman
A quick glance around the store will reveal that our items are tagged with several different colored stickers or hang tags.
Red, blue, green, yellow, and orange. Red tag items are the only items that will not regularly be discounted or enter our weekly price reduction rotation. On any given day there will be 3 out 4 colors with some type of discount ranging from 25% to 50% to 75% off. This means one of those colors will always be at full price, we often refer to this color as “the color of the week,” and is the color we are currently producing and tagging items with. Additionally, Friday through Saturday we offer another 25% off if a customer makes a purchase of $50 or more, this is on top of the discounts associated with whatever color tags the customer may be buying.
Now that you have an idea of our sales structure and discount system, what is of equal importance is communicating this information to the customer as soon as they walk into the store. You may also direct them to one of our monitors which will also display which items are on sale and any future sales that may be coming up.
